2. James Gosling, who founded Java at Sun Microsystems, has joined Google.

13. After the launch of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010, Microsoft Corp. announced that Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2 is scheduled for general availability in the first half of 2011.

14. Oracle and Apple has announced the OpenJDK project for Mac OS X. Apple will contribute most of the key components, tools and technology required for a Java SE 7 implementation on Mac OS X. OpenJDK will make Apple’s Java technology available to open source developers.

15. App Inventor is a new tool in Google Labs that makes it easy for anyone—programmers and non-programmers, professionals and students—to create mobile applications for Android-powered devices.

16. Google has agreed to delete all personal data collected by its Street View cars from unsecured wireless networks. These information were collected from unsecured Wi-Fi networks as its vehicles roamed residential streets.

17. Yahoo has decided to revamp its email service after five years. It is presumed that new Microsoft mail (revamped look) service could be the cause.
